Terms and conditions

1. INCLUSION AND PASSWORD TERMS

1.1 Right of use

Overview Synthesis of practice guidelines allows the right of use for one (1) user per account for the entire duration of the subscription until the termination of the contract by one of the two parties. Throughout the entire subscription, the subscriber acknowledges that he does not have any ownership rights on the platform. The subscriber accepts the terms and conditions of use of the platform.

1.2 Password change

Overview Synthesis of practice guidelines reserves the right to require the subscriber to renew his password. This may occur, for example, if there is a reasonable doubt of account sharing, which is a violation of the terms and conditions of a per-user subscription. Clear communication regarding the reasons and procedures for such changes will be provided.

 

2. SUBSCRIPTION CONTENT

Subscription to the platform provides access to all visual overviews and all summaries, both in English and in French, for all included pathologies. Please note that the monthly update of the search strategy may lead to changes in the number of practice guidelines and pathologies included each month.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

The first monthly payment is made upon subscription. Subsequent payments are automatically made on the card you used to register with the platform, for the amount indicated in the subscription contract.

 

3.1 Automatic renewal

Renewal is automatic, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise notified by the subscriber before the monthly (or annual for an annual subscription) anniversary date of the subscription. Renewal notices will be sent to the subscriber one (1) month before the renewal date, one week before the renewal date and finally one day before the renewal date.

In a situation where changes to the terms of the contract have occurred, Overview Synthesis of practice guidelines will send, 60 days before the anniversary date of the subscription, renewal notices including the changes to the terms. In these notices, the modified terms and conditions will be clearly identified. 

 

4. MODIFICATION TO THE SUBSCRIPTION

4.1 Adding or removing features

The subscriber is aware that an addition or modification to the platform could modify the conditions of this contract, for example, the cost of the subscription. In this case, the subscriber would, of course, be notified of the changes in the renewal notices.

 

4.2 Termination

This contract may be terminated by one of the two parties, under the conditions below:

 

4.2.1 Termination by Overview, for failure to comply with conditions by the subscriber : It will be possible for Overview to terminate this contract, at any time and without notice, in a situation where the subscriber does not respect the conditions of this contract or if the subscriber's account is in default of payment during more than thirty (30) days.

 

4.2.2 Termination of the subscription by the subscriber: In the event that the subscriber wishes to cancel his subscription, he must send to Overview Synthesis of practice guidelines a notice on this subject to the contact details indicated below. This notice must be sent at least one day before the anniversary date of the subscription to this contract. Please note that there will be no refund for the termination notice period. 4.3 Modification of terms and conditions

It will be possible for Overview Synthesis of practice guidelines to reasonably modify the conditions of this contract by sending to the subscriber a notice of at least 60 days before the anniversary date of this subscription. All notices to the subscriber will be sent by email to the address we have on file for the subscription.

This Privacy Policy defines the way in which we collect and process your personal information that you communicate to us when you use our website.

During the payment process to access our services, our third-party payment provider, Wix Payments, collects your credit card number, its security code and its expiration date.

We collect various personal information. You may choose not to provide this information to Overview Systhesis of practice guidelines. However, by doing this, it may be impossible for you to access certain sections of the site that require the entry of this personal information.

We collect your personal information mentioned above for various purposes. We process the information necessary to register an account (first name, last name, email address, employment and country) in order to provide you with our services, in order to provide customer support, in order to ensure our relations with you, in order to be able to communicate with you, to help identify the profile of the members of the platform and to be able to carry out targeted marketing. We process your payment information in order to manage our business, to provide you with our services and to manage our relationship with you.

Geographic location of processing: Our operations are located in Quebec. However, personal information may be transferred, stored and processed outside of Quebec, either in Canada or the United States where our affiliates, service providers and partners may maintain business operations.

Overview Systhesis of practice guidelines implements technical, physical and administrative security measures in order to protect your personal data against unauthorized use, access or processing. However, please note that no security system can be perfect and therefore no data transmission can be guaranteed 100%.

Therefore, although we are entirely focused on the protection of personal information, it is impossible to guarantee or ensure 100% security of all information transmitted via the site. Your use of our site is at your own risk. In the event that a breach compromises your personal information, our team will notify you and any necessary regulators, where our team is required to do so under applicable law.
